I am an education researcher and former early years educator specialising in early childhood development (ECD), education systems, and social policy.
With over a decade of professional experience in early years settings, I developed a strong understanding of how social and economic inequalities shape children’s learning experiences from the outset. This foundation informs my research focus on equity, access, and system-level change.
In 2024, I completed an MA in International Education and Development (Distinction), concentrating on educational inequality and socio-economic determinants of school completion. My dissertation, focused on The Gambia, applied the Capability Approach to analyse how region, gender, and wealth influence educational opportunity.
I now work at the intersection of practice, research, and policy, bringing analytical rigour and practitioner insight to evidence-informed, equity-driven education work.
